Palos Medical Group is pleased to offer the services of Andrée de Bustros, M.D., a board-certified endocrinologist who treats all areas of endocrinology, with special interest in diabetes and thyroid disease management.
Dr. Andrée de Bustros
Dr. de Bustros brings more than 25 years of experience to Palos Medical
Group. “My many years of practice have taught me the importance of
combining clinic experience with the latest medical advances to provide
my patients with the best possible care,” she says. “My philosophy is to
treat the patient with the disease, not just the disease.”
Dr.
de Bustros received her medical degree from the American University of
Beirut, and completed her residency and a fellowship at the prestigious
Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, M.D., where she remained on staff
to practice and pursue research for several years. After moving to
Illinois, she became Section Head of Endocrinology at Christ Hospital in
Oak Lawn and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of
Illinois, Chicago. Dr. de Bustros comes to Palos Medical Group from
Endocrine Care, an independent physician office located in Tinley Park.
