Nationally Recognized Diabetes Education at Palos

The nationally recognized Diabetes Program at Palos Community Hospital provides a continuum of care and education for people with diabetes and their caregivers.

This program includes hands-on instructions about the self-monitoring of blood glucose, education about nutrition and physical activity to both treat and prevent diabetes, and motivation for patients to use the skills for self-management and make any necessary lifestyle changes.
