Assess Your Risk for Heart Disease this February
In recognition of February as National Heart Month, Palos Community Hospital is offering a cardiac risk assessment, which includes a total blood glucose and cholesterol profile (blood draw after 12-hour fast required), body fat analysis, family history and health risk appraisal, and a detailed cardiac risk report, for $99.
According to the American Heart Association, Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Stroke is the third most common cause of death in the United States and a leading cause of serious disability.
