Palos Community Hospital Sponsors Annual Diabetes Fair

Palos Community Hospital will host its annual Diabetes Fair intended for persons with diabetes and their family members from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Palos Health & Fitness Center, 15430 West Ave., Orland Park. The keynote speaker, Pulmonologist and Sleep Specialist Tabassum Hanif, M.D., will discuss the connection between diabetes and sleep apnea, as well as the health implications and the treatment options available. Exhibitors also will be on hand to discuss products available for diabetes management during the free event. Registration is required. Call (708) 226-2300 to register. 

The Palos Community Hospital Diabetes Program has been awarded continued Recognition from the American Diabetes Association. The nationally recognized program provides a continuum of care for people with diabetes, and education for care givers and physicians in the management of the disease.
