Why Choose Palos for Emergency Services
Life is unpredictable. Whether you've just experienced a minor injury or a major accident, or if you're having critical concerns regarding a serious or chronic condition, Palos Community Hospital's Emergency Department (ED) is ready to help. We provide treatment to patients with a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries that require immediate attention, some of which may even be life-threatening.
Each year, the Palos Emergency Department treats more than 45,000 patients. Board-certified emergency physicians, specialty-trained nurses and clinicians are equipped with the latest medical technology to diagnose and treat your specific injury or illness.
We are continually exploring new ways to enhance the patient experience, and a recent expansion to our ED allowed us to add more treatment rooms, double our triage capacity and expand the waiting area to further improve patient flow and enhance our quality of care.
The Palos Community Hospital Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you and your family in the event of an emergency.
